Pennsylvania Backyard Wedding
Alex and Kimaya
Like almost every wedding this year, Kimaya and Alex’s original wedding plans got scrapped due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Their 200+ person wedding was supposed to take place at the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. Instead, they switched everything to a 30 person, socially distanced wedding in their parents backyard.
I walked into their day with Kimaya and her mom finishing up morning prep, complete with a FaceTime call from Kimaya’s grandmother all the way in India. Meanwhile, Alex took some time to figure out how to get into his traditional Indian clothes. Afterwards, the couple met for the first time right in front of the house.
Kimaya and Alex see life as an adventure. Living in San Fransisco, moving to LA, flying East for their Pennsylvania back yard wedding. I think they are currently living in Hawaii at the time of writing this blog. Their wedding was another stop in their adventure together, and I can’t wait to see where they go next!
