Remote Backyard Pennsylvania Wedding

Laurie and Larryโs wedding was like no other and Iโm so happy I got to be a part of their big day. Although an older couple, neither of them have ever been married. They spontaneously met, fell in love, and decided to get married. Of course due to the pandemic they had to cancel their wedding at Monterre Vineyards. Instead, they got 40 of their closest friends and family and had a remote backyard wedding in PA.
The ceremony took place right next to the pool, which was different but made it so unique and special to them. The officiant also added a personalized touch to the ceremony. As a referee, he decided to change into his uniform halfway through just to spice things up-which I loved! After the ceremony, everyone changed into Hawaiian shirts and the reception was a Luau. I also brought a change of clothes to fit the theme. It was my dream to shoot a wedding in shorts and they made that dream come true! So I guess you can say Iโm a big fam of themed remote backyard weddings.
Laurie and Larry are an amazing couple and reminded me that sometimes we have to make do with what we have and be grateful for everything.
