Nina and David
This past weekend, I had the task to document David proposing to his girlfriend (now fiancé) Nina at Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. David was picturing a calm Saturday, exploring the beautiful city, however, it ended up being the complete opposite of that. The park was packed with people, who just found out Joe Biden would be our next president. There must’ve been over a thousand people there celebrating and taking in the beautiful weather. Cars honked, Biden signs were raised, and the music was playing at full volume.
To keep the proposal a complete surprise from Nina, David planned a fancy brunch (so she’d be dressed to the nines) and a walk to Rittenhouse to pick up a few things from the farmers market. Rittenhouse is sentimental to them as it was where they had their first date. David told me that during their first date, they had a long conversation on one of the park benches – and that’s where he planned to pop the question.
Nina and David are energetic, hilarious, and simply a really good match for each other. This session had so many great moments. The whole day was not only a celebration for them but also for the many big changes to come.
